会议强调：要坚持问题导向、效果导向，紧盯重点问题和关键环节，推进常态化扫黑除恶斗争走深走实，要强化政治担当，深刻领会常态化开展扫黑除恶斗争的重大意义，进一步增强工作责任感和使命感，确保各项工作任务落实落地。优化线索核查，拓展来源渠道，完善核查机制，提升发现和处置黑恶势力的能力。深化依法严打，加强部门协同，凝聚打击合力，深挖彻查“保护伞”，深化打财断血，提升办案质效。推进重点行业整治，深入开展“三书一函”质效提升年活动，健全行业监管机制，压缩黑恶势力生存空间。夯实基层基础，持续在基层组织建设、加强源头治理等工作上下功夫，铲除黑恶势力的滋生土壤。加强组织领导，压实工作责任、注重统筹结合，强化队伍建设和宣传引导，不断推动工作取得新突破。
会议还就近期重点工作进行了安排部署。
