“台湾被日本侵略者占领期间，400万人口中60余万军民失去生命，其中40万是手无寸铁的黎民百姓！这些历史应该铭记！”
“1895年7月，桃园三角涌/大嵙崁大屠杀，烧杀25000人；1895年9月，萧垄大屠杀，残杀27000人；1896年6月，云林大屠杀，残杀300000人……日本侵略者在台湾至少制造了11起大屠杀！这些历史应该铭记！”

一段时间来，张宗真埋头扎进史料、笔耕不辍，先后撰写了《马关之殇：台湾军民孤岛抗日的悲壮史诗——献给台湾光复80周年》《两岸3565万抗日英烈在天之灵，照亮台湾2300万同胞回家之路——献给抗日战争胜利、台湾光复80周年》《日本大屠杀手无寸铁的40万台湾同胞与一位“反共”将军的觉醒之路》《五万台湾儿女“寻找祖国三千里”、奔赴大陆参与全民抗战》等文章；与此同时，兼任澳门中华文化发展促进会会长的他牵头筹备着在澳门举行相关内容的图片、史料、书画展及学术交流论坛，并拍摄专题宣传片，“将于今年10月25日台湾光复日当天在港澳台地区播出”。
当记者好奇地问他，商业事务如此繁忙，怎么还能抽出大量的时间、精力做这样的事儿，张宗真脱口而出“责任使然”。
“我曾与许多台湾的朋友聊起当地抵抗日本侵略军的历史，很多重要事件、重要人物他们都不了解！特别是年轻人，对两岸先辈们浴血奋战抵御日寇的历史不了解，对侵略者残忍屠杀我台湾军民、犯下的滔天罪行知之甚少！”谈起这些亲历，张宗真连连感慨，反复地表示“非常震惊”。“这是不可以的！”
让张宗真更为气愤的是，“台独”分子违背作为中国人的基本良知，不断地粉饰美化日本殖民统治，肆意掩盖历史真相。“我们要把这些真实的历史公布于众，让更多的台湾青年知道，让世界知道。血泪写就的历史，必须代代铭刻！”
翻看这几篇篇幅都不算短的文章，记者被荡气回肠的内容深深吸引，更为字里行间所沉淀的激动、痛心、愤慨的情绪所感染。
在《马关之殇：台湾军民孤岛抗日的悲壮史诗——献给台湾光复80周年》一文中，他这样写道：
1945年8月日本战败，10月25日台湾光复，重归中国版图。丘逢甲“孤岛血战”的呐喊、徐骧“大丈夫为国捐躯死而无憾”的誓言，至今仍在海峡两岸回响。
这段历史证明：台湾的命运始终与祖国相连，任何分裂行径皆违背民族大义。
在《日本大屠杀手无寸铁的40万台湾同胞与一位“反共”将军的觉醒之路》一文中，他这样写道：
徐将军虽已故去，但他始终铭刻于心的是：1895年《马关条约》后，台湾沦陷的50年间，日寇屠刀之下那连串腥风血雨并未远去。
不能忘记，台湾军民在大陆同胞人力、物力、财力等各方面的大力支持下，以血肉之躯书写的台北、新竹、苗栗、大甲溪、彰化、云林、嘉义、曾文溪、台南、雾社等一系列重大抗日战役的悲壮史诗。
在《五万台湾儿女“寻找祖国三千里”、奔赴大陆参与全民抗战》一文中，他这样写道：
祖国大陆爆发全民族抗战后，5万台湾儿女“寻找祖国三千里”，前仆后继奔向祖国的各个抗日战场。这是一条穿越日寇层层封锁、硝烟弥漫的生死路，更是一条以生命丈量民族精神、国家情怀的赤诚路！
5万颗赤子之心跨越山海而来，不仅书写了“共赴国难”的壮烈诗篇，更提醒后人：当山河破碎之际，纵有重洋阻隔，亦拦不住台湾同胞齐心抗日的血脉归程。

不同的文章内容有别，主题都是一个——挖掘日本侵略者在中国台湾犯下的罪行，书写海峡两岸同胞携手抗击外敌的可歌可泣的历史，唤醒更多的同胞特别是台湾青年人铭记历史、珍爱和平。
让张宗真欣慰的是，几篇文章在媒体刊发后，得以广泛传播，特别是得到境内外媒体的大量转载。
“第一篇文章经环球新闻、华人头条刊发后，两天阅读量150万人次，在香港共工新闻社发出后两天，阅读量实现200万；第二篇在华人头条刊发两天实现阅读量500万人次……以上文章不仅在港澳台各类媒体上多有转载，在国外多家媒体也广为传播。”这样的传播让张宗真颇为欣慰，感觉自己所有的付出都很值，“不仅有更多人通过我的文章了解了这段历史，也说明这段历史被更多人认同。”
“铁证如山。”张宗真说，这是得到读者共鸣的重要原因。“很多文章的史料来自日本官方，日本文献有记载，‘台独’分子却视而不见。这不仅是政治问题，更是民族大义、大是大非的问题。‘台独分子’一意孤行，就是对历史、人民和未来的犯罪！”
张宗真表示，正逢举国上下团结一心纪念抗战胜利80周年和台湾光复80周年之际，发挥与台湾民间交流交往的独特优势，传播真相，弘扬伟大的爱国精神，服务国家对台工作，是澳门重要的时代任务。作为澳区全国政协委员，在重大历史关口更要立场坚定、发挥双重积极作用。“在中华民族最接近民族复兴的新时代，我们每个人都应肩负使命，将集体的民族记忆和民族精神铭刻于心，更要推动其薪火相传。”（记者 李寅峰）
