日前，江苏宜兴丁蜀镇紫玉丹青陶瓷艺术馆馆长吴建荣先生与记者谈到：他为了弘扬中华传统文化，他通过精心研究中国孔子儒学文化与紫砂创作相结合，他通过半年的精心设计与构思，由他主创的《孔子》紫砂壸已经捐赠孔子研究院，作品将有孔子研究院儒学文献收藏中心永久收藏。
在《孔子》紫砂壸的设计制作过程中得到了季顺林、孔维克、苏显著、王全友、孔令武先生等老师们大力支持和协作，该紫砂壸作品因其极具中华孔子文化与艺术价值方面的贡献，其捐赠活动得到了山东相关部门与各界专业人士的称誉。
参与此次《孔子》紫砂壸捐赠活动的有孔子学院副院长刘续兵，全国政协委员、民革中央画院院长孔维克，宜兴紫玉丹青陶瓷艺术馆馆长、江苏宜兴市紫砂文化地方特色教材副主编吴建荣，中国民间文艺家协会会员、宜兴儒陶馆馆主孔令武等出席仪式，孔子研究院儒学文献收藏中心张斌主持活动。
刘续兵先生认为：此次捐赠的紫砂壸《孔子》巧妙地运用紫砂艺术表现手法，将儒学精髓融入其中，充分彰显了儒家文化的博大精深。吴建荣先生为江苏宜兴人，他荣获世界非物质文化传承人，中国工艺美术大师，江苏省陶瓷协会宜兴紫砂行业协会会员。他的《紫竹壸》荣获中国轻工业联合会组织的中国工业美术大师精品紫砂壸博览会评比金奖，《牛运》荣获北京收藏家协会在人民大会堂评比金奖，《新美人肩》在全国首届《独一壸》紫砂精品博览会评比中荣获金奖。
吴建荣先生对记者说：《孔子》紫砂壸采用最经典的儒家故事作为创作元素，以脚踏祥云、口含玉书的麒麟形壸钮展现“麒麟吐玉书”的典故，通过四边抽角的制作工艺来隐喻孔子泗水河论水的故事，生动展现儒家文化的深邃内涵。
