王荣在讲座中首次披露，“盛义堂伤科学术流派”被省卫健委确定为“三晋首批中医学术流派”，秉承中医整体观念，立足传统中医基础理论并紧密结合伤科疾患临床特点，吸收中医各家临证精华，兼收并蓄，融会贯通，以“一针二手三膏药”为主要治疗手段，强调“内外兼治、筋骨并重”，创立“针药结合、扶正祛邪;调和气血、柔筋强骨;局部整体，调复平衡”的治伤学术思想。很大程度上免除了患者的手术之苦。
